It all comes down to another elimination game with the Yanks, and I have an inside edge with this game. Factoring in travel for one player and the bullpen - this is the easiest game of the MLB Playoffs thus far, and guys, in case you hadn't noticed - I am 4-1 in the postseason thus far. The Angels really did themselves a major disservice yesterday by allowing the Yanks to hang around in this series. They had them beaten late, but saw what was supposed top be their shut down bullpen, blow it for them. We now get the same exact match-up we saw in Game 1 as the veteran Mussina squares off against Bartolo. Colon pitched well in the first game, but couldn't get the last out in the first two innings that allowed the Yanks to gain its insurmountable lead. The Halos couldn't do anything with Mussina whatsoever. He stymied every one of their attempts, and I look for more of the same this evening. The Yanks have historically pounded Colon, and he's never come up big in a playoff game in his career. The Yanks get back to the ALCS once again, and leave the Angels scratching their heads in the off-season looking to find another bat to compliment Vlad.
